We would like to thank all of our 2022 Coastal Ride participants for a great weekend in Edenton!  Our staff provided you with more than 665 miles of routes to choose from during the weekend and some of the best rest stop locations we have ever offered.  Here are some of your favorite highlights that we've heard so far from the weekend: the Sycamore Arabian Horse Farm rest stop, the Scotch Hall Preserve rest stop, the ride across the Cashie River on the Sans Souci cable ferry, the rest stop in downtown Hertford, Backyard Betsy's in Creswell, the Somerset Historic Site rest stop and the meal/music/beer on the waterfront on Saturday night with a beautiful sunset.  Let us know your favorite highlight.  We're currently working on the location and the dates for the 2023 Cycle NC Coastal Ride.  We currently have several towns that are interested in hosting the event.  We hope to select the town and make an announcement by the end of May.  Thanks again to all of you and we hope to see you in August on the Cycle NC Mountain Ride and in October on the Cycle NC Mountains to Coast Ride!

No New Posts   Outdoor camping vs indoor? (my first ride)

January 8, 2021

I would like some insight as to the pros and cons of indoor vs outdoor camping? I selected indoor for weather and charging purposes, but i am fearful of missing out on the fun and/or my personal belongings being left behind?

No New Posts   mileage strategy?

April 10, 2019

Hello! This will be my first three day ride. We plan to do something like 50, 60 and 80 miles. But should we knock out our longest ride on the first day? Or the last? What is the best strategy for covering those mileage goals? Thank you!
